I've been waiting for this one to hit streaming services ever since I saw it drop on Steam a few days ago. Veteran American synthwave producer Makeup And Vanity Set has teamed up again with Stellar Jockey to provide Brigador Killers with a fittingly killer new score. The game entered early access earlier this month, and the full, 43-track OST is now streaming wherever you get your music.
OG fans will find their footing in no time with this new batch of music, built around the mean synths, pounding beats, and retro, eighties-infused drum kits the composer is known for. On his Bandcamp page, he writes: “With the expansion of scope and gameplay, the music also expands into new levels of aggressive intensity and icy cold digital synthesis—a perfect background as you inflict maximum vengeance upon the shadowy figures of a corporate dystopian wasteland.”
Today has been huge for VGM releases: the soundtracks for both Marvel Tōkon and Marvel's Wolverine have hit streaming platforms, the highly anticipated Fire Emblem: Three Houses OST finally dropped on Nintendo Music, and Square Enix quietly released a batch of missing SaGa soundtracks on its channels.
