Riot's virtual K-pop sensation has finally broken its silence! Following a six-year hiatus, Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, and Kai'Sa are back and fiercer than ever with a brand-new four-track EP, spearheaded by the title track "FIRESTARTER"—whose music video below was animated by Fortiche Production (the studio behind Arcane).
K/DA's current lineup features MIYEON and SOYEON from i-dle, alongside Sophie Powers and Mimi Webb, who previously contributed to the bulk of the group's discography between 2018 and 2020. The four new tracks were penned and produced by Riot Games' seasoned in-house music team: Aejin Kwon, Ashley Fulton, David Dahlquist, Georgia Ku, James Norton, and Sebastien Najand.
It's a long-awaited comeback that fans greeted with fervent hype: "FIRESTARTER" has already amassed over 5.7 million streams on Spotify alone in just two days. In a first for the group, this digital drop is also accompanied by CD and vinyl releases, along with a full merchandise lineup available on the Riot Store and select retailers such as Black Screen Records in Europe.
