How ready are you to step back into World of Warcraft? Perhaps you're already playing Forever thanks to the closed beta that's been running for several weeks. But for the rest of us, launch day is set for November 4. Until then, Blizzard is giving us all something to chew on by dropping the complete soundtrack to World of Warcraft: Forever across all major streaming services and on Bandcamp.
Spearheaded by veteran composers Adam Burgess and David Arkenstone, this reimagined score will live alongside the music you already know and love during your journey through Azeroth. Neal Acree, another seasoned Blizzard composer, also lends his talents to a couple of tracks alongside Brendon Williams. You've heard Williams' work in Destiny 2, Guild Wars 2, and across several Overwatch themes over the years. He also co-wrote and produced that fantastic World of Warcraft Aurora song earlier this year. I'm genuinely excited to hear what he brings to the franchise.
In related news, Blizzard followed September's BlizzCon by dropping the iconic soundtracks to both Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and its fan-favorite expansion, The Frozen Throne, on streaming. And while we're on the subject, don't sleep on the Diablo 30th Anniversary concert held in London last June. You can catch up on the show via YouTube or listen to the recording on your streaming platform of choice.
