Alexis Laugier is on fire this month. The French composer, known for his work on As Far As The Eye, Road 96, or the very recent Tides of Tomorrow, is already back with the soundtrack for the early access of the turn-based tactical roguelike Deified.
It’s a very modern take on orchestral music, blending synthesizers and haunting vocals; in fact, some tracks could easily fit right into a forgotten Diablo entry. I wasn't familiar with this darker side of Alexis Laugier's work, but I have to say I really like it. All the more so since the composer has already announced on social media that more tracks are likely to be added to the album as the game's early access progresses.
