Tides of Tomorrow, the new game from Road 96 studio, is out now—OST available to stream and to preorder on vinyl

It has already been five years since the release of the acclaimed Road 96, and today the French studio DigixArt is launching Tides of Tomorrow, its new adventure game set in a "plasticpunk" world.

Composed by Lou Corroyer, Alexis Laugier, Doodseskader (Tim De Gieter & Sigfried Burroughs), KOKOKO!, and Cardozo feat. LW2, this 42-track score is a masterclass in cultural and sonic fusion. The soundtrack brings together a raw, eclectic range of styles: from cinematic atmospheres to the industrial sludge and heavy grit of Doodseskader and the explosive "afrofuturist" electronic rhythms of KOKOKO!.)

The French label G4F going the extra mile, pairing the game and OST launch with the announcement of a vinyl and CD release. Both are available for preorder via the studio’s Bandcamp page and official store for €39 and €15, respectively. No official release date has been shared yet.

G4F has been on a roll with releases over the past few weeks. Just a few days ago, the label supported the launch of Big Bad Wolf’s latest game, Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss, whose excellent soundtrack will also be getting a vinyl release. Earlier this year, the climbing game Cairn received the same treatment.

The Road 96 original soundtrack, notably featuring tracks by The Toxic Avenger, is still available on the G4F store.
