The score to the first game was a standout, so it's hardly surprising the Swedish studio brought back the very same composing duo for their sophomore outing. If you loved TOEM for its laid-back, cozy, and wholesome vibe, you'll feel right at home with the sequel. Launchable Socks and Jamal Green pick up right where they left off five years ago, treating us to 36 brand-new tracks spanning nearly two hours of music. Expect pensive piano, heartwarming hums, comforting guitar strums, and melancholic, chill electronic beats.
Given that TOEM eventually got the vinyl treatment, I wouldn't be surprised to see American label iam8bit jump back on board to do the same for its follow-up.
