It didn’t take long at all. Just one week after Pearl Abyss released the first volume of the OST for its already-cult action RPG Crimson Desert for free on Steam and YouTube, it is now available on most streaming platforms.
This first major release features 75 tracks across four discs, each with its own specific theme: themes, battles, exploration, and bosses. We don’t yet know how many volumes Pearl Abyss will eventually release, but the studio will likely capitalize on the game’s massive popularity and won't keep us waiting too long for the rest of the soundtrack.
With over 5 million copies already sold, Crimson Desert is one of the biggest hits of 2026. The music was composed in-house by the Pearl Abyss team, consisting of Hwiman Ryu, Inro Joo, Hyoung Woo Roh, Jiyoon Kim, Dongjune Oh, and Heejoon Oh.
