The 21-track OST will land the same day across all major streaming platforms, and the main theme, "The Soul of Racing," is already available. According to the composer on Instagram, Star Wars: Galactic Racer offered an opportunity to “try some new techniques” and take his sound to another level—crafting something fresh and distinctive without sidelining John Williams' iconic musical blueprint.
Haab is arguably the most adept composer working today when it comes to channeling Williams' grand orchestral legacy, and his score for the acclaimed Star Wars Jedi: Survivor stands as the gold standard. Since the early 2010s, Haab has contributed to 10 separate Star Wars titles, sharpening his craft with every entry. Still, scoring a high-octane racing game is an entirely different beast, which makes hearing the complete soundtrack all the more enticing.
