Just a day after dropping the main theme for the highly anticipated Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, Bandai Namco has rolled out the live recording of its latest concert production: the Ace Combat/s The Symphony 30th Anniversary Concert Album. Held in late January in Japan, the performance offered an early preview of the Ace Combat 8 theme, hyping fans up even further. Already out on CD, the album is now available to stream globally across Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Deezer.
Featuring music spanning most of the franchise's history, the concert was conducted by Hirofumi Kurita and performed by the renowned Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, an ensemble no stranger to giving video game scores the live treatment. In 2017, the orchestra took the stage for the Kirby 25th Anniversary concert, followed by a once-in-a-lifetime Tales Of performance in 2023. Both recordings are also available on major streaming platforms.
