A year of Bananza: Nintendo celebrates Donkey Kong with a massive, 229-track OST

The Donkey Kong Bananza soundtrack is out now on Nintendo Music.

We saw this one coming. For the first anniversary of Donkey Kong Bananza, Nintendo has added the massive, 229-track OST to its streaming service. Listen now on your smartphone, in your car or via a web browser (Nintendo Switch Online subscription required).

As usual, it's available in both full and condensed versions (still a hefty 140 tracks). This monster soundtrack composed by Naoto Kubo (Captain Toad, Super Mario Odyssey) obviously includes the songs performed in-game by Pauline (and by Jenny Kidd in real life). Since Nintendo still refuses to properly credit its artists on Nintendo Music, you'll have to head over to VGMdb to learn more about the people behind one of the standout games of the young Switch 2 era.

As a heads-up, Nintendo warns that certain tracks may contain spoilers regarding DK's journey, and recommends enabling the spoiler prevention feature in the app's settings.

Last week, Nintendo Music added the F-Zero 99 OST. Meanwhile, Bandai Namco is also celebrating an anniversary today: that of PAC-MAN's quirky spin-off, Shadow Labyrinth.
