A few months before my time, I gather that a certain segment of gamers fell in love with a dolphin named Ecco. Sega's cult franchise, which started in 1992, remains dear to many hearts and is set to receive a series of remasters titled Ecco the Dolphin: Complete.
Following this announcement, A&R Atelier—the studio tasked with the heavy lift of modernizing this legendary aquatic platformer series—has added a music player to its website. It features the complete soundtracks from across the franchise, including the Sega Genesis, Sega CD, and Game Gear releases, along with several remastered tracks.
A total of 124 tracks, all composed by Spencer Nielsen, are available for free on the dedicated webpage. As of now, the Ecco soundtracks are not available on any other streaming platforms.
In addition to the remaster project, A&R Atelier also announced that a brand-new entry in the series is in development. More info can be found on the official site.
