London-based boutique label Super Rare Games has announced an upcoming vinyl release for the narrative sim Wax Heads. Pre-orders kick off on October 8 at 6:00 PM BST, with shipments expected between December and January. Priced at €29.28, the 2LP will be pressed in limited quantities.
Drop the needle on a stacked soundtrack and immerse yourself in nostalgic gems. The soundtrack features 25 curated tracks spanning across many genres, bands, and eras.
From grimy basement bangers to dreamy indie deep cuts. It’s a playlist built to loop in your head long after you clock out.

In Wax Heads, players help passionate music lovers track down their next obsession. Much like Coffee Talk, the core loop is all about listening closely to customer requests and pointing them toward the buzziest indie gem or a must-have reissue of a legendary record.
For this pressing, composer Gina Loughlin personally handpicked 25 of the 31 tracks she wrote for Palatti Games' title, whose digital OST is currently available exclusively on Steam and Bandcamp. I recently had the opportunity to chat with the composer about how she views the future of game audio, especially as 2026 looms as another brutal year for industry layoffs.
