Next stop: your shelf.

French label Kid Katana Records has finally opened pre-orders for the highly anticipated Denshattack! 3LP vinyl box set. Slated to ship in early 2027, the deluxe pressing includes a selection of 48 curated tracks from the hit indie game that launched last summer to rave reviews (read mine right here). It marks one of the most ambitious releases in KKR's catalog, priced at €59. A CD is also up for pre-order, and features all 80 tracks for €25.

A yellow variant is also available at indie retailers such as Black Screen Records (Europe) and Cartridge Thunder (US).

Kid Katana Records collaborated with the incredible teams at Undercoders and Fireshine Games to bring you the Denshattack! OST to an exclusive and limited-press transparent blue 3LP vinyl.

With 9M+ streams since release, an 8.1 score by Pitchfork and top-rated on Bandcamp, it sets a new standard for indie game OSTs and definitely needed a physical edition!

This critically-acclaimed OST was composed by Tee Lopes (Sonic Mania, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge), Andrew One and Sean Bialo (Penny’s Big Breakaway).

It features an all-star cast of over 20 guest composers and artists from all over the world, such as , Shoji Meguro & Lotus Juice (Persona), Richard Jacques (Jet Set Radio, Sonic R), Takenobu Mitsuyoshi (Daytona USA), 2 Mello (Bomb Rush Cyberfunk), Ryo Nagamatsu (Splatoon, Mario Kart, The Legend of Zelda), Alice Peralta (Splatoon), rapper Miyachi, Vtuber Ironmouse and much more. The result is a unique piece of electronic, breakbeat, anime, hip-hop and punk-rock tunes that perfectly accompany the colorful and diverse universe of the game!

This premium 3LP physical edition is an official licensed product, designed in close relationship with the game's creative teams:

Months have passed, and I haven't changed my mind one bit: Denshattack! stands tall among the finest video game soundtracks ever assembled. Featuring 20 guest artists including Shoji Meguro and Lotus Juice (Persona), Kohta Takahashi (Ridge Racer, Ace Combat), Takenobu Mitsuyoshi (SEGA Rally), and The Noble Demon (Nightmare Kart), the score bends genres while capturing the irreverent energy of 2000s classics like Jet Set Radio and Sonic Adventure, with a dash of Splatoon. The project was spearheaded by a brilliant trio: Tee Lopes (Sonic Mania), Sean Bialo (Penny's Big Breakaway), and Andrew One (GI Joe: Wrath of Cobra)—whom I had the absolute pleasure of interviewing.

With over 9 million streams across digital platforms, Denshattack! also accomplished the rare feat of earning an 8.1 on Pitchfork. In her review, Billie Bugara noted that “Denshattack! extends the highs of video game soundtracking’s glory days while offering a vital sense of freshness.”
