With just over a month to go before the release of Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, Olivier Derivière continues to unveil the game's soundtrack, one track at a time. Two previews are already out, but "The Fight of the Braves", which just dropped, is by far the heaviest yet. Listen now on YouTube and soon on all streaming platforms.
I love the rhythm shifts, the time signature changes, and the raw power of the vocals. Once again, Derivière called upon the Amalgamation Choir, led by Vasiliki Anastasiou—who was also the soloist on the first single, "The Land", released a few weeks ago. According to the new behind-the-scenes video posted by the composer on his YouTube channel, the choir recorded this new track in a single take, showing the sheer talent of these 20 women.
Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is expected on August 27 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series. As a reminder, this is a prequel to the first two A Plague Tale games, following Sofia's coming-of-age story in a more action-RPG-oriented game.
