Spellgarden Games is back today with Thrifty Business. The developers of Sticky Business are spinning off their concept and expanding it into a cozy sim where you run a 90s thrift store. With gameplay inspired by both Unpacking and countless business management games (like the recent inKONBINI or Wax Heads), the title stands out with a color palette as loud as a 90s windbreaker.
Naturally, the music follows suit, featuring eight tracks that evoke both chillhop and 90s pop (Dress Up is an obvious Spice Girls pastiche). The soundtrack was crafted by German composer Marie Havemann, who remains loyal to the studio for their third consecutive collaboration. The musician and sound designer previously made a name for herself a few years back working on Albion Online.
