Tracking new VGM releases since 2022

The Total War: Warhammer soundtracks have finally arrived on all streaming platforms

Games Workshop is capitalizing on the tenth anniversary of its Skulls event to hit hard and heavy. The publisher is finally fixing one of the biggest gaps in its catalog: the absence of the massive soundtracks from Creative Assembly’s strategy games, Total War: Warhammer.

We're talking about several hundred tracks, totaling nearly 12 hours of music, that are now accessible in just one click on your favorite platform. These are choral OSTs, co-composed by RTS legends: Tim Wynn, Ian Livingstone, Jamie Christopherson, Richard Beddow, and many others. Check out the VGMdb pages for the full credits!

Games Workshop also used its annual event to officially announce Warhammer 40K: Mechanicus II by the French studio Bulwark. The studio has teamed up once again with composer Guillaume David, who treats us to a dark synth soundtrack where the organ plays a major role.
