Tracking new VGM releases since 2022

The second volume of The Forever Winter OST is now streaming everywhere

Still in Early Access, the co-op horror TPS—blending survival elements and extraction shooter mechanics—just keeps getting better. The Forever Winter has recently received two major updates, and Fun Dog Studios has announced the upcoming release of an artbook for the game’s grim world. You can find more info here.

The studio is also taking advantage of this momentum to release Volume 2 of the original soundtrack, composed by Jason Willey, on Steam, Bandcamp, and all streaming platforms. The American musician continues to craft eerie ambient music, using electronic soundscapes to build tension, occasionally punctuated by high-impact industrial blasts. Willey also revisits his metal roots on several tracks under his pseudonym, Ptoroshredanoid.

Note that the Steam version of the OST is far more extensive than those on streaming services. It features 57 tracks, compared to just 30 on Spotify and others. If you’re a fan of the game’s music, consider supporting the studio by picking up the full OST!
