Do you love headbanging to the riffs of Iron Maiden and cult 80s heavy metal bands? Then you know what to add to your playlist. Released earlier this month, the action-platformer Chainstaff is driven by a soundtrack heavily inspired by legendary 80s groups. Volume 1 is now available for streaming on all platforms, and available for purchase on Bandcamp and Steam.
Composed and performed by South African artist Deon Van Heerden, the Chainstaff OST packs the same energy as a certain Broforce… which is no surprise: it’s the same composer!
Deon also teamed up with singer Craig Cairns for the title track, which sounds like it's straight out of a "Heavy Metal Anthems" compilation.
