Paul Aubry still had some tricks up his sleeve! Just two weeks after the 1.0 launch of the sky-high city builder Airborne Empire, the Canadian musician has dropped an EP featuring eight additional tracks.
These are fairly short pieces, some of which were heard in trailers, while others are dedicated—as the EP’s title suggests—to the pirate attacks that can disrupt the peace of our floating city.
Either way, you’ll still find those hints of Ghibli-esque inspiration, with magical orchestrations and playful melodies. Learn more about the making of the music for Airborne Empire in my interview with the composer.
