Francisco Cerda, the composer behind the brilliant Protocorgi and, more recently, the excellent Fast Fusion is already back in action to accompany the release of the Takeover 2 demo—an ambitious beat 'em up slated for release later this year. Highlighted by a striking cel-shaded art style, Pelikan13's title also shines thanks to a synthwave OST that perfectly fits its crime-ridden alleyways.
What we get here is a punchy eight-track EP that further proves the Chilean composer knows his craft inside out, never missing an opportunity to channel his sharp melodic sensibility into high-voltage games. I can't wait to hear more!
