Nintendo is playing it safe for its weekly drop. While Star Fox has just been released on Switch 2 (a selection of tracks is available here), the Kyoto giant is further expanding the massive OST of its best-seller, Animal Crossing: New Horizons. This time around, it's a batch of new tracks from Happy Home Paradise, the DLC that lets you decorate vacation homes for your favorite villagers. You can listen to it here.
With this new addition, the Animal Crossing: New Horizons OST now features exactly 442 tracks, totaling over 13 hours and 40 minutes of music. Suffice it to say, it is probably the largest soundtrack currently available on the platform! However, according to the sharp ears of fans on Reddit, a few tracks still seem to be missing, notably the DJ KK remixes exclusive to the DLC. Material for a future drop, perhaps?
Still overseen by Kazumi Totaka, the music for Animal Crossing: New Horizons and its additional content is composed by Yasuaki Iwata, Shinobu Nagata, Masato Ohashi, Yumi Takahashi, and Sayako Doi. Last April, the soundtrack for the first installment of the franchise, Animal Crossing, also made its debut on Nintendo Music.
