More ambitious in its gameplay than previous entries in the OPUS series, this narrative game—bordering on a visual novel—casts us as a weary photographer in a parallel reality, accompanied by a young girl with amnesia.
Still helmed by composer Triodust, the game's soundtrack is infinitely mellow, filled with melancholy pianos, acoustic guitars, and soft electronic layers that wrap around us like the warm wind of a summer night. Numerous guests are also credited across these 52 tracks, offering just as many different approaches to music that is meant to be introspective—fitting perfectly into your reading playlists or for those moments of "staring lost into the horizon during a train journey."
The game is out now on PC and Nintendo Switch.
