While I'm a bit disappointed that Hyper Games studio didn't bring back composer Oda Tilset for this sequel to Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley, I also have to admit that Joar Renolen did a superb job on this new installment.
Already a sound designer on the first game, the Norwegian musician delivers a variety of gentle and introspective tracks on guitar or piano, where the reverb places us in an almost trance-like meditative state. A bit melancholic at times, the album doesn't forget to be playful, with some tracks that put a smile on your face. Perfect for kicking off the week in a good mood!
