Tracking new VGM releases since 2022

UNBEATABLE’s high-voltage post-punk soundtrack finally hits streaming

UNBEATABLE hits Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer and more

The rhythm game/visual novel from D-CELL Games is making waves. Alongside news of a vinyl release at iam8bit and a fresh DLC (complete with its own Bandcamp soundtrack), the high-octane post-punk OST of UNBEATABLE has officially landed on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Tidal, Deezer, and Qobuz. You can find all the links above. Note that it's still really fresh, and that you may have to wait a couple of hours for the rollout to be completed on your favorite streaming service.

In line with the studio's Steam announcements, the album featuring the diegetic tracks—performed by the game's own characters—is now available outside of Bandcamp. A second album, dubbed [ost], is expected in the coming days; this one serves as the game's actual score, providing the music for narrative beats and the atmospheric backdrop for the adventure's progression. While not yet official, it’s a safe bet that the recently released BREAKOUT and the newcomer The Jamie Paige Content Companion's Official Companion Content will also land on streaming platforms at some point.

As the studio reminded fans in their Steam post, "Of course, the best way you can support the SOUND TEAM and ensure we're able to continue making more tracks for the game is to purchase the soundtrack directly." I can’t stress this enough: streaming is convenient, but it doesn’t put food on the artists' tables. Buy the music you love!

UNBEATABLE is available on PC and, as of today, on Switch 2.
