In case you missed the news: the Nintendo Music app is now getting new updates every Friday. This week, for no particular reason, it's the soundtrack to the original Pikmin, released back in 2001 on the GameCube.
The 33 tracks composed by Hajime Wakai (Star Fox, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom) are now available on the Nintendo Music mobile app. As a reminder, a Nintendo Switch Online subscription is required to log into Nintendo Music.
The Pikmin soundtrack joins that of Pikmin 4, which has already been available on the app for a few months now. I'll let you do the math: two installments are still missing, and they should be joining the Nintendo Music catalog in the coming months.
A couple weeks ago, Nintendo added the original soundtrack to the first Yoshi game to celebrate the release of the latest installment of the series: Yoshi and the Mysterious Book. Last Friday, it was The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds that joined the streaming service.
