Tracking new VGM releases since 2022

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds OST is now playing on Nintendo Music

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds OST is now playing on Nintendo Music

The 105 tracks from the cult 3DS game's OST are now available on Nintendo's app, accessible via the Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Several themed playlists, including a best-of compilation (boasting a whopping 72 tracks), are available so you can cherry-pick the soundtrack however you like.

It seems that Nintendo has shifted its strategy for updating its music app. Until now, fans of the brand anxiously checked their apps on Tuesday mornings to see what was new. Things recently changed—specifically since the Star Fox remake announcement a few weeks ago. Nintendo Music updates now seem to land on Fridays, aligning with most major music releases on other streaming platforms.

According to Reddit observers, Nintendo likely realized that fans were able to anticipate the company's upcoming announcements whenever no new OST dropped at the beginning of the week. By releasing them at the end of the week instead, Nintendo hopes to put a stop to the speculation.

Since Nintendo Music doesn't credit the artists who worked on the soundtrack for The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, you have to turn to VGMdb to find out for sure. The composers are Ryo Nagamatsu, Koji Kondo, Akito Nakatsuka, and Hajime Wakai.
