You've waited long enough. Almost two years after the expansion's debut in July 2024, the soundtrack to Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail has finally landed on streaming services. Listen now on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and more. Unfortunately for Qobuz users, Square Enix is giving you the cold shoulder once more.
Composed, as always, by the tireless Masayoshi Soken (and arranged by a host of talented composers), this new album comprises 66 cuts from the 7.0 patch of the popular MMORPG. With a runtime of 4.5 hours, it sits among the lengthiest additions to the game's music since its original release back in 2010. You can find more information about the sound team and musicians over at VGMdb. Masayoshi Soken is also known for composing the soundtrack to Final Fantasy XVI in 2023. Quick reminder that the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth soundtrack, released back in January, is still the longest VGM album of 2026, with 175 tracks. More video game music data available here.
Last May, Square Enix released GROWING LIGHT: FINAL FANTASY XIV, a collection of tracks spanning patches 6.1 to 6.5. Evercold, the sixth expansion for Final Fantasy XIV, was unveiled last April, and is set to release in January 2027. See the trailer below.
