It’s hard to believe that the seemingly complete (?) soundtrack for Microsoft's latest racing game only features five short tracks. To be fair, Forza Horizon 6 relies heavily on its various licensed songs and numerous radio stations to provide variety. Get this: there are no fewer than 220 tracks spread across nine themed radio stations, making it the largest licensed soundtrack yet — at least until GTA VI drops next fall.
This EP features tracks heard primarily during cinematics, the game's credits, and other key moments of the adventure, which takes place in Japan this year. It's a very EDM-heavy soundtrack with contributions from artists from all walks of life (pun intended). However, I expect more albums to be added soon under the "Forza Horizon" artist profile, which Microsoft created specifically for the occasion. On Instagram, composer Ian Livingstone announced his involvement in the soundtrack. That said, it's worth noting that the scores from previous Forza Horizon games are still not available for streaming.
