2026 is definitely turning out to be a surprising year. Not only is it set to welcome, presumably, the first GTA of the decade, but we're also witnessing the return of Bubsy—the infamous bobcat who terrorized a whole generation of gamers with platformers of absurd difficulty.
Thirty years after Bubsy 3D, its sequel is stepping up into the fourth dimension. Don't panic, it’s just a joke: the game remains a 3D platformer where you blast through hyper-colorful levels littered with collectibles. Handling the soundtrack? My favorites, Fat Bard! Having already teamed up with Fabraz for Demon Tides (which also boasts a killer score), the duo is back to provide the music here, delivering a rock OST drenched in a heavy dose of funk.
It's a mind-blowing display of virtuosity from the American duo—whom we were just listening to last month on Simple Planes 2—and easily one of their best albums yet. An absolute blast!
