The new entry in Asobo’s franchise isn't even out yet, but its musical roll-out is already locked in. Just like with all his previous soundtracks, composer Olivier Derivière (Streets of Rage 4, South of Midnight) is teaming up with German label Black Screen Records for a gorgeous 2LP release for Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. The game is set to launch on PC and consoles on August 27, with the vinyl following in November. It’s available for €45 as a signed edition by the composer. In the US, Very Ok Vinyl will handle distribution for $47.

Marketing for this spin-off centered on the character of Sofia is picking up speed with just a few weeks left before launch. Alongside plenty of gameplay footage, we’ve already gotten a taste of three tracks from the OST of A Plague Tale Legacy, which takes a very different direction from the series' first two installments. Olivier Derivière teamed up with the Amalgamation Choir—a 20-woman choir led by Vasiliki Anastasiou—to ground the game’s score in the Cretan setting of Sofia’s journey.
