Vampires are all the rage these days. Just a week after Konami rolled out all 26 soundtracks from the legendary Castlevania franchise across major streaming services, indie developer Poncle has unleashed its latest score on Spotify, Apple Music, and beyond. Use the player above to jump straight to your platform of choice.
As teased ahead of the game's April launch, Poncle tapped legendary composer Yoko Shimomura (Live A Live, Final Fantasy XV, Kingdom Hearts) to score the opening theme, "Il Cuor non si Spaura" (which translates to "The Heart Does Not Falter"). Shimomura is only a high-profile guest, though. Much like with Vampire Survivors and its litany of DLCs, the heavy lifting falls to Filippo Vicarelli, Michael Coviello, and Daniele Zandara, who wear their Castlevania influences proudly on their sleeves. The resulting 32-track collection is a neo-retro treat, pivoting seamlessly between moody gothic-rock anthems and pure synth bangers.
While iam8bit handled the vinyl release for Vampire Survivors, British outfit Laced Records has taken the reins for Crawlers' digital rollout—suggesting a lavish wax pressing could well follow down the line.
