The haunting score to CONTROL Resonant is out on Spotify and more

Petri Alanko's most ambitious soundtrack to date is now available to stream on Spotify, Apple Music, Qobuz, and other major platforms.

Riding the momentum of CONTROL Resonant's release, Remedy just dropped the full original soundtrack, which had previously been locked behind the Deluxe Edition. You can stream it now on your platform of choice using the links above—and make sure to add "Zoe's Mixtape" to your playlists as well!

Helmed by house composer Petri Alanko (co-composer Martin Stig Andersen did not return for the sequel), the CONTROL Resonant score is arguably his most ambitious work yet. I highly recommend checking out this deep dive over at MusicRadar if you enjoy gear breakdowns and nerdy talks. Spanning 13 tracks for about 50 minutes of music, the album shifts effortlessly from ominous, mood-setting drones to blistering boss themes driven by eerie vocal work—none more potent than "Obsessive Compulsive Order." You will undoubtedly do the classic Leo DiCaprio pointing meme the second that cue kicks in during your playthrough.

Set in the same connected universe as Alan Wake and Quantum Break, CONTROL Resonant expands Remedy's lore well beyond the brutalist confines of The Oldest House into a full-fledged open-world action RPG. Because players now have far more agency in how they approach their journey, the score had to follow suit. Alanko pulled out all the stops, delivering eerie soundscapes, shape-shifting combat cues, and delicate piano melodies that cut through the surrounding madness. It is stellar work, if you ask me—but I'm a sucker for all things Remedy, so don't take my word for it.
