Covering video game music news on a daily basis means I often witness some odd moves from certain studios. Take Tarsier Studios, for instance. On February 21st, just a few days after releasing their latest horror game, REANIMAL, the Swedish studio dropped a 21-track album on streaming platforms, composed by house musicians Christian Vasselbring, Jacob Carlsson, and Stefan Almqvist. Shortly after, the album was abruptly taken down, leaving only the link I had generated at the time as proof of its existence.
Out of nowhere, five months later, the original soundtrack has finally resurfaced across all major platforms—this time in an expanded version. It now boasts 33 tracks, all listed under the artist name "Reanimal" (though individual composer credits remain properly documented).
All this to say, if you enjoyed REANIMAL as much as I did and want to sit back and re-experience what Tarsier Studios brewed up on the musical front, you can now stream it on your platform of choice.
