Just a week after the game's release (alongside two teaser tracks from its soundtrack), the MOTORSLICE OST is now available for streaming on all platforms. It will also drop later today on Bandcamp, where the artist is hosting a listening party.
As I mentioned last week, the soundtrack's release also comes with a vinyl edition (1LP), allowing jungle music fans to add these precious soundscapes to their collection. Pizza Hotline is no stranger to the genre. He notably made a name for himself with his album Level Select, which literally features a PS1 controller on the cover. Safe to say, late-90s sonic nostalgia is right up his alley. In 2024, he was also featured on remixes for the RuneScape franchise, released by Laced Records.
Jungle is making a massive comeback in video game music, and the MOTORSLICE soundtrack joins excellent recent representatives of the genre, such as Easy Delivery, Co. and Straftat.
