Only days after Stumpy Frog and Lost in Cult announced the upcoming release of the Caves of Qud vinyl, the indie label is back at it with CloverPit. This gambling game—which mashed up Balatro’s mechanics with the deeply uncomfortable vibes of Buckshot Roulette—sold over 750k copies in just two weeks back in October. Limited to 500 units, the CloverPit vinyl is slated to drop for the game's first anniversary next fall. You can pre-order it directly on PayPal for €29.
Composed by Clément Panchout, the ominous soundtrack to CloverPit is relatively short, comprising only three tracks. That’s why Stumpy Frog made sure to include the extended versions instead, and threw in the banging 'The Pulse of the Pit' track from the Unholy Fusion DLC to round out the mix.
This one sounds absolutely decadent on vinyl. I find myself coming back to the test pressing for CloverPit again and again. It just gets me fired up, and the bass is absurd. Love it.
Not to bore you with unnecessary lore, but everyone involved in this release has been particularly kind. Composer Clement Panchout (who you might know from their many contributions to PUPPET COMBO games) was great, Future Friends Games bent over backwards to assist, and artist Franck Besançon was so gracious in providing even more assets for the release.
This one just gives me good feels... and then the music terrifies you.

In their email, Stumpy Frog teased that they have one more vinyl announcement coming in the next few months. Judging by their niche tastes, it’s anyone’s guess what’s cooking.
