Rockstar offers a first look at GTA VI radio stations: here are the hosts, artists, and tracks confirmed so far

From reggaeton to metal, Grand Theft Auto VI's radio lineup begins to take shape with hosts including Bad Bunny, Robyn, and Slayer's Kerry King.

With the countdown ticking past the 40-day mark ahead of Grand Theft Auto VI's launch (scheduled for November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S), Rockstar has revealed a preview of six in-game radio stations set to soundtrack Jason and Lucia's escapades across Leonida. The studio also announced that, for the first time in franchise history, protagonists will be able to listen to these stations on foot using earbuds and headphones, alongside new thematic podcasts designed to push in-game immersion to new heights.

Following the announcement, the first wave of high-profile hosts running Leonida's airwaves was confirmed by Pitchfork. The lineup features Bad Bunny, RaiNao, Lana Del Rey, Robyn, Alex Consani, Burna Boy, Palms Trax, Kerry King & Tom Araya (Slayer), Morgan Wallen, Jeremy Dufrene, Trick Daddy, and Trina.

Here is what we know so far about the hosts, artists, and tracks you'll soon have on repeat in GTA VI. Audio snippets and vibe previews are available on the official Rockstar website.

With a roster like this, Rockstar is clearly aiming for more than just delivering the most ambitious video game of all time. GTA VI is positioning itself as the undisputed cultural event of late 2024, spanning gaming, cinema, and music alike.

When it launched back in 2013, Grand Theft Auto V featured 17 radio stations boasting around 240 licensed tracks, with guest hosts including Wavves, producer Flying Lotus, and electronic duo Soulwax. Over the years and through successive content updates, GTA Online significantly expanded that catalog, which now tops out at 750 tracks spread across 26 themed stations, hosted by global stars like Rosalía, Arca, Danny Brown, and The Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas.

Rockstar is unmistakably gearing up to make a seismic impact with its new open world, which will almost certainly launch with a record-setting library of licensed music. That said, the developer remains tight-lipped regarding the original score, at least part of which is expected to come from franchise regular Woody Jackson, potentially reunited with Michael Hunter, who previously left his mark on GTA IV. While we await further details in the coming weeks, the initial cues featured in late August's extended trailer already sounded exceptionally promising.

Just last month, Rockstar unveiled Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, a 34-track compilation curated and composed by major contemporary artists including Travis Scott, PinkPantheress, Yung Lean, and The Rolling Stones' Keith Richards. Eight singles are already available to stream, and physical pre-orders are open on CD and vinyl ahead of release day on November 19.

In other must-know VGM news, Konami has been on quite a roll lately, dropping the full soundtracks for both Castlevania and its cult JRPG series Suikoden onto streaming platforms.
