I can’t believe it’s already been six years since Animal Crossing: New Horizons came out on the Switch. What were you even doing back in 2020? Nintendo, at any rate, was rolling in cash—the game sold something like 50 million copies.
While the ACNH soundtrack has been available on CD and for a while now on the Nintendo Music app, the publisher is dropping a new batch of 10 tracks today from the final update. It includes four tracks for the hotel and six for Slumber Island.
I still wish Nintendo weren't so lousy at crediting its musicians, but we’ll just assume that, like the rest of it, most of the music here was spearheaded by Kazumi Totaka.
