American nu-metal band Korn has teamed up with Blizzard Entertainment to celebrate next week's release of the upcoming Diablo IV expansion — Lord of Hatred.
Titled "Reward The Scars," the song fits perfectly into the discography of the Jonathan Davis-led band. It features the aggressive guitars and signature "slap" bass style that the group is known for. The single is already available for streaming on all platforms.
Blizzard has made these kinds of sync deals a habit for the launch of new expansions. Last month, singer bbno$ was brought in for the new Diablo II: Resurrected expansion, and last year, the studio collaborated with Lucile Croft and What So Not for an update. Earlier this year, AURORA lent her vocals to a great video celebrating the community aspect of World of Warcraft.
Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred is set to launch on April 28th for PC and consoles.
