Following a teaser that left no room for doubt, iam8bit has officially lifted the curtain on the Team Ico Collection. The drop features a repress of the long-sought-after Shadow of the Colossus and The Last Guardian vinyls, along with the first-ever vinyl release for 2001 PS2 classic Ico. Pre-orders for individual LPs and bundles are open until August 31, with prices ranging from $31.99 to $42.99. European fans can also pre-order through Black Screen Records for €35 to €45. Deliveries are expected to ship in Q4 2026.

It’s a massive blow to scalpers, who have spent years flipping these grails for eye-watering prices on the secondary market. According to Discogs, the Shadow of the Colossus 2LP was trading for an average of €115 prior to this announcement. As of this writing, I'm even seeing listings hitting €250 to €330 on a popular French resale platform (where I live).
While we wait for more news on Fumito Ueda’s next project, Gen Atlas, which was teased during Summer Game Fest, fans of the legendary Japanese studio can find solace in adding these iconic scores to their shelves. The albums were composed, respectively, by pentagon & Michiru Oshima, Kow Otani, and Takeshi Furukawa. As a quick reminder, all three soundtracks have also been streaming on major platforms since last year.
It’s a busy season for iam8bit, which just last week opened pre-orders for the Mina the Hollower soundtrack on vinyl.
