Media Molecule is teaming up with the American label for the release of the LittleBigPlanet and Sackboy: A Big Adventure original soundtracks on CD and vinyl. Composed respectively by Mat Clark and Kenneth C. M. Young, and Nick Foster, Joe Thwaites, and Jay Waters, the music of these colorful and innovative platformers has delighted players on PS3 and PS4 for over a decade.
The vinyl records are expected at the end of the year (Q4 2026) for $42.99. A $69.99 limited edition of LittleBigPlanet is also available on the iam8bit website, which includes a poster illustrating Sackboy's adventure along with exclusive artwork. Meanwhile, the CDs are listed at $24.99 and will ship during the same period.
The European distribution for these new releases has not yet been officially confirmed, but Germany's Black Screen Records is expected to follow suit in the coming days.
In recent weeks, composer Kenneth C. M. Young has also made headlines with the vinyl release for Astro Bot, which was crowned Game of the Year at the 2024 Game Awards.
