While *Mario Tennis Fever* launched a few weeks ago on the Switch 2, Nintendo has added the soundtrack of the previous installment, *Mario Tennis Aces* (2018), [to its Nintendo Music app](https://share.music.nintendo.com/en-US/US/officialPlaylists/891be211-2dd9-4550-b432-5e9f42604e6e). It’s a relatively short OST by Nintendo standards, featuring 26 tracks totaling 1.5 hours of music.

Two playlists offer an alternative way to experience the soundtrack: one gathers the themes from the various tennis courts, while the other features "extended tracks," allowing songs to be looped for long-term background listening.

As is typical for Nintendo, no credit is given to the individual musicians who worked on the game. However, according to [VGMdb experts](https://vgmdb.net/release/11839), the legendary **Motoi Sakuraba** headed the project under the supervision of industry icons like Koji Kondo and Kazumi Totaka. This isn’t particularly surprising, given that *Mario Tennis Aces* was developed by Camelot—the studio behind the *Golden Sun* series, for which Sakuraba also composed the music.

Recently, Nintendo broke the internet by [releasing the Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 soundtracks](https://nowplaying.cool/super-mario-galaxy-1-2-official-soundtracks-are-now-streaming-exclusively-on-spotify/) exclusively on Spotify for the first time ever. While this is a limited-time event, it may pave the way for more releases of this kind from the Japanese giant.
