Not that the announcement is particularly groundbreaking, but it turns out I really enjoyed the discovery. That’s what NOWPLAYING is all about: getting off the beaten path. I mean, have you guys ever heard of Kamihime Project? Well, neither had I, until I listened to the 9th volume of its OST, which just dropped on streaming platforms. I’ve always kept an ear out for Asian gacha soundtracks, and I have to say, I was won over by the rather chaotic energy of this one. Navigating unapologetically from unbridled, edgy rock to loud techno tracks, with battle themes worthy of a high-budget JRPG, Techcross Sound Corps offers us a true all-you-can-eat buffet with this new album. It makes me want to check out the studio's previous work… if only I had the time. Go on ahead, I’m right behind you!
