I'm not gonna lie, I didn't necessarily expect the composer of *Is This Seat Taken?* to take on this genre. To my great surprise—and much to my delight—Rupert Cole will be on the soundtrack for the retro racing game *Rogue Stradale*, which doesn't have a release date just yet.

It’s a car game with an aesthetic that screams Japanese arcades, and as per tradition, it’ll be backed by an explosive OST—one that I hope stays on the same level as this mind-blowing first track. A few weeks after [the release of *Screamer*](https://nowplaying.cool/anime-racing-game-screamer-launches-its-soundtrack-ahead-of-release-later-today/), gearheads are eating well this year. And with *Forza Horizon 6* dropping next month, the rubber won't have any time to cool down.
