# For its delightful chiptune alone, Juke's Quest for Harmony deserves your full attention

There aren't many things I love more than discovering new artists. There is always some apprehension, of course—that I might miss the mark, or simply not enjoy the music. But more often than not, my Friday morning music curation puts immensely talented musicians on my radar. Case in point: Canadian composer Ian Aisling, who seems to be making his video game soundtrack debut here.

Raised on late '90s Nintendo OSTs, as he notes on [his website](https://ianaisling.com/about), Aisling delivers an energetic, bouncy chiptune score for the *Juke's Quest for Harmony* demo, overflowing with optimism and hope. It is a refreshing contrast to Jake Kaufman's occasionally oppressive melodies [in the still fresh *Mina the Hollower*](https://nowplaying.cool/mina-the-hollower-ost-out-now/), for instance!

Both the composer and the game are definitely worth keeping on your radar.
