Exactly five years to the day after its release, the soundtrack to the remaster of the original NieR is finally available on (almost) all streaming platforms.
This legendary score, composed by Keiichi Okabe, is at its absolute best here. Completely re-recorded and re-orchestrated for the occasion, it has also been enriched with four bonus tracks, and the most iconic pieces have been lengthened for the fans' ultimate pleasure.
Okabe and the team at Monaca Studio went all out with a full orchestra to replace the synthesizers which—while they had their charm back in 2010—lacked the scale to support the landmark title NieR has become over the years (thanks in particular to the popularity of its sequel, NieR: Automata).
