# MOUSE: P.I. For Hire vinyl finds a new home at iam8bit

In an unexpected twist for Fumi Games' retro FPS, the 1930s rubber hose-style shooter couldn't pass up a proper vinyl reissue. Plans have indeed changed: originally released through Mondo last June, the vinyl will now be distributed by US boutique label iam8bit. Indeed, Mondo's parent company Funko [appears](https://www.reddit.com/r/VGMvinyl/comments/1vyfbr9/mondo%5Fclosing%5Ftheir%5Fvinyl%5Fdivision/) to be winding down its vinyl operations entirely.

Audiophiles won't lose out in the swap, as this new pressing—expected in Q4 2026—upgrades from a 140g to a heavyweight 180g LP. It features the same 18 tracks composed by Patryk Scelina, alongside the track "Good Mouse" performed by Caravan Palace.
