I'll be honest with you: I absolutely detest marching bands with every fiber of my being. Every single weekend in my city, a local band energetically covers pop hits in a warm, family-friendly atmosphere, but it’s no use—I just want to throw things at them to make it stop. All this to say that, for some completely inexplicable reason... I absolutely love the soundtracks for EA SPORTS College Football.
The latest installment just dropped, and as usual, it comes with a companion album of pop hits reimagined with that distinct marching band flavor. I was already pretty blown away by last year's lineup, but I’m thrilled with the 2027 edition, which features a genuinely jaw-dropping tracklist.
From Rosé and Bruno Mars's "APT." and Metallica's "Sad But True" to Chappell Roan's "Pink Pony Club" and Kid Cudi's "Day 'n' Nite"—the playlist is flawless, and it somehow even manages to put me in a great mood.
