Nintendo just wrapped up its dedicated Direct kicking off the 40th anniversary celebrations for *The Legend of Zelda* franchise. The showcase delivered an extended look at *The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake*, alongside a November 5 release date exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2\. To mark the occasion, the Nintendo Music app is hosting an early preview of the game's main theme, [which you can listen to right here](https://music.nintendo.com/shared/en-US/FR/officialPlaylists/3b4a65ed-359f-4a20-87bb-a06a58390599/) if you're a Nintendo Switch Online subscriber.

Clocking in at a brief 90 seconds, the track will serve as the game's title screen theme in just under two months. Much like [the recent *Star Fox* remake](https://nowplaying.cool/10-tracks-from-the-upcoming-star-fox-have-been-added-to-nintendo-music/), the score for *The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake* has been completely rearranged and rerecorded to deliver a more cinematic feel than ever before.

Speaking of music, Nintendo also announced [a worldwide concert tour](https://nowplaying.cool/nintendo-zelda-40th-anniversary-concerts-world-tour-dates/) to celebrate the 40th anniversary of its iconic franchise.

The stars are aligning, as these announcements arrive just a week after the first buyers of the *The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild* vinyl box set began receiving their orders. I was personally hoping for a few more soundtrack reveals during this Nintendo Direct, but my wallet is definitely breathing a sigh of relief!
