The countdown is officially over for *Control Resonant*. As Deluxe Edition owners jump into Remedy's latest title via 48-hour early access on PS5, the Finnish studio has rolled out "Zoe's Mixtape" on streaming platforms. The EP brings together songs licensed through FRD Records—including [fan-favorite track "Manalan Mailla,"](https://nowplaying.cool/control-resonant-is-shaping-up-to-be-just-as-striking-on-its-music-front-as-with-its-visuals/) performed by Vilma Jää, which is already closing in on 2.5 million plays on Spotify. The Finnish artist recently spoke to [Forbes](https://www.forbes.com/sites/mattgardner1/2026/09/17/im-not-a-gamer-how-vilma-j-shaped-the-control-resonant-soundtrack/) about the creative process behind the song, which already ranks among the most streamed tracks in her catalog.

Clocking in at six tracks, the mixtape leans heavily into pop sensibilities, clearly echoing the chapter songs featured in Remedy's previous outing, *Alan Wake 2*. I'm already hooked on "No Chains Can Last Forever," which sounds straight out of Sam Gellaitry's catalog. Here is the full tracklist:

*Control Resonant* officially launches on September 24 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. It serves as the direct sequel to 2019's *Control*, which played a foundational role in cementing the Remedy Connected Universe. Critical impressions published last week praised the game's undiluted weirdness and celebrated an open world that is endlessly fascinating to explore.
