It’s arguably one of the most delightful 3D platformers of recent years. Inspired by the likes of Spyro or Jak & Daxter, the second game from Luckshot Games (their first, Sausage Sports Club, came out in 2018) became a massive hit earlier this year. Until now, its soundtrack was only available on Steam and Bandcamp. Today, it’s available for streaming on all platforms.
Available, yes, but in a slightly condensed version, containing "only" 97 of the 120 tracks from the original score. Mind you, a tracklist of that size is still very impressive for an indie game. The composer, Tom Dunkin, previously wrote the music for Luckyshot’s first game, as well as Battle Chef Brigade. He’s a rather low-profile but highly talented musician who provides the little frog from Big Hops with a musical backdrop that’s every bit as colorful and cheerful as the game's art direction suggests.
